Acne or pimple can appear as the result of several reasons whether it is because of the hormonal changes, unhealthy diet, under strong emotions like stress, or many more. Face is the most important part of body for most people and how annoying it can be when there is a small reddish spot on your face. 1. Ice
Ice can help to reduce swelling and heal the acne by tightening the oil gland which later on forcing the excess sebum and bacteria out of the irritated skin. Ice is also good in narrowing the skin pores. Just wrap ice cubes in a piece of cloth or paper towel and hold it on the affected area for minutes. Repeat this process for several times in a day. Within a day or two you will notice that the pimple will disappear.
2. Toothpaste
Toothpaste is also good home remedy to heal pimple faster. Using toothpaste as the follow up after the ice treatment is a good combination. Just remember that the toothpaste you are using is the white paste, not in a form of gel. Apply a small amount of toothpaste on the pimple before bed and leave it overnight. Wash it off the next morning with cool water.
3. Aspirin
Some people proved that aspirin works effectively for removing pimple quickly. It has anti-inflammatory properties which can reduce the swelling. All you need to do is to crush an aspirin tablet and mix it well with some drops of water to form a paste. Dab it directly over the pimple and let it dry. You may also leave it overnight and wash it off in the morning.
4. Steam
Steaming can be also a good treatment to get rid of irritating pimple. It works by opening up the skin pores and then disposing all the oil, dirt, and bacteria which cause infection on your skin. Fill a large pot with boiling water and place your face so that the steam interacts with your face for several minutes. Afterward, pat your face dry and then apply some oil-free moisturizer.
